Third Trimester Must-Haves
Some of these items are tried and true that I’ve been using through my whole pregnancy, and some have become my new best friends in my third trimester. I’ve never been one to search out ‘maternity' specific items, but these will grow with you through the months and probably still be something you reach for once you have your baby (I’ll let you know when I get there!).
In true transparency, clicking on some of the links will send a % of the sale my way.
1. TNA Butter Bike Shorts
Although not as great quality, these are a lot more forgiving and stretchy than the lululemon align bike shorts. They are also half the price and have been the most comfortable thing during my whole pregnancy, but especially now as my belly is growing. Serious must-have. Note: I sized up!
2. You Swim One Piece Swim Suit
I feel like a million bucks in this suit. It’ll grow with you, so comfy and looks amazing. Will also be great after you have the baby. It’s also a smaller business that I am so happy to support.
3. HBody Butter
My sister got me into this and I’m so grateful. Everyone has different needs in their lotions, etc, but this is for you if you want a thicker, lux oil/butter butter. I’m no expert, but I also felt good about the ingredients and the scent isn’t offensive. I bought two to get free shipping and will definitely go through both of them by the time baby comes because I love it so much.
4. Old Navy Dress
I am not a tight dress gal, but loving them in pregnancy! I feel so good in them! This is my favourite (I have it in a few colours). It’s not maternity specific but it’s super stretchy and comfortable—hopefully it’ll take me the end! I throw this on with a blazer or open button-up shirt. I got a size Medium.
5. Fits Everybody Skims Thongs
I was a Skims convert pre-pregnancy (if you know, you know), and turns out these underwear are just as comfortable during pregnancy. I haven’t had to size up and they don’t dig in at all. Just try these and thank me later :) The cotton jersey scoop bralette has also been comfy + supportive during pregnancy too. I’m a size medium across everything.
6. Tommy Bahama Beach Chair
I feel like it doesn’t get more grandma than this, but omg this is a must-have when at the beach or on my patio. Now that I’m in the third trimester, sitting at a 90 degree or laying flat on my back is so uncomfortable. This chair allows you to angle yourself just to your liking. Also love the head rest. I’m a convert.
